Back to the future

Although this is to my humble opinion a nice landscape photo, there's more to it than just that. Energy is going to be a big thing this century. I think there are more than enough resources for the ever growing demand and sustainable is the way to go, especially solar energy. Here the sun is blocked by a cloud that seems to be coming from this Nuclear Power Plant @ Doel Belgium right across the border from Holland. So this is rather symbolic for I think we have to look beyond the clouds for a better, safer alternative. We also have our own nuclear power plant @ Borssele which provides only 4% of the energy for the Netherlands. Is it worth the risk? We've seen the disasters in Russia and recently in Japan. Germany will have closed all of their 17 nuclear power plants by 2022, that's an example to follow...
